I’m trying to decide between storing my Bitcoin in a multisig using hardware wallets with Electrum or using a Coldcard for a singlesig with a passphrase.
I know multisig is harder to set up and backup but the benefit is the keys can be easily distributed by location.
As for the singlesig, I like the fact that you can have multiple accounts by using pass phrases and you don’t need. I feel it’s safe as long as the passphrases are not stored with recovery seed phrases.
I want a setup that is easy without compromising security. I want to use the wallet for long term and I want to be easy for inheritance.
