"Crypto will destroy the banks." Newsflash: exchanges are essentially banks, they're slapping you with just as many fees, they've failed before and they will fail again in the future. They aren't your friends.

Any libertarian views. Deregulation is just giving someone richer than you the opportunity to screw you over.

People professing their faith in "the technology" and how it's shaping "the future", without ever bothering to explain what the tech does and what future it's leading us to. And no, telling people to read the "white paper" for themselves doesn't count.

"The community is great". It's crypto, not Club Penguin.

NFT enthusiasm. There are a few noteworthy applications for specific businesses. That's it. The rest is Beanie Babies 2.0

"It's early days." Generally what is meant is, "After all these years, it's still very impractical to use crypto in daily life"

"FUD": "NANANAH I don't want to ever hear any information that's not bullish!" If you disagree with something, present your facts. Also, if your facts are regurgitated from a crypto-centric outlet, they're biased.

"Unpopular opinion"

The rampant "hypocrisy & greed" combo: So many people are pretending this is about solving the world's issues you'd think this is the beauty contest part where they ask the girls to talk and everybody rolls their eyes. The fact is, no-one cares about anything else but their wallet.
