I see Tether (USDT) getting shit on all the time on here and many other places as well. A lot of people also hate the fact it's in the top 10 and theories about it's inevitable collapse.
Some questions I have:
- How will we realistically be able to move away from USDT? Most of the exchanges I'm on are dominated by USDT trading pairs (with the exception of Coinbase).
- What are viable alternatives? I see good things being said about Terra (UST) and mixed opinions about USDC. I however haven't seen a ton of UST pairs on the exchanges I use.
- Are any exchanges making moves to move away from USDT?
- If USDT does end up being exposed and failing, how might that affect the entire market with so many pairs being traded with tether?
