All the avoiding scam tips I've gathered from this sub...

1. Don't give anyone your seed or recovery phrase for obvious reasons
2. Ignore DMs of people trying to help, because they mostly just want your money (especially those 1 day old accounts with random names who tell you fancy crypto terms that you don't understand)
3. NO RANDOM LINKS. Only click on links from people you 100 percent trust, and even so, try typing the link out and doing research to see if it is reliable or not. Before you verify everything, don't connect your wallet or type in your seed or anything like that
4. Be careful when typing out links. You may get to an identical website if you type a single letter wrong, but that identical website was likely made to scam you as soon as you connect your wallet
5. Be careful when transferring assets between accounts; make sure that the address you're sending to is YOUR address. Not some other one
6. Don't have all your crypto on some exchange; it might go bankrupt...
7. Ignore 1 day old bot accounts with sketchy obviously bot generated usernames that ping you and offer you free shiba inu stuff... (and other cryptos too or porsche nfts lol)
8. Don't click on random nfts people sent you; it might have a smart contact attached to it (although I'm not quite sure what this means, it basically will just steal all your money...)
9. Oh and for those who are here for reddit avatars, NEVER SEND FIRST IN TRUST TRADES (I learned the hard way rip...)
10. And finally, when buying nfts, make sure that what your buying is the real thing and not a screenshot...

1. Ignore youtubers and such that promise to double your money

2. Common sense... not so common these days

3. Don't have things that scammers can use to identify you

4. Bookmark legitimate websites

5. Use security stuff!

6. if you are using an exchange for the first time, make a brand-new wallet but NOT VIA THEIR WEBSITE.

Tldr: Don't trust anybody or anything
