I was exploring a newly added features section in my Amex app and I was surprised to see a whole NFT integration that Amex deployed. Big players are indeed interested in crypto and NFT and that's a massive step into a mass adoption. I like American Express and I am glad they are one of the first financial institutions which understands the utility of NFTs and hopefully they will integrate crypto as well.
The Amex app allows you to connect your crypto wallet to your Amex account. Besides NFTs, you can unlock exclusive Amex offers. Can you imagine getting limited edition NFTs and being rewarded for achieving certain goals, visiting events, or shoping via Amex portal and getting NFTs. Endless possibilities.
No matter what you think of banks or particularly Amex, it's definitely a step in the right direction for crypto adoption. Can't wait to receive my first Amex NFT.
