Switching from ledger to cold card, I tried to read up on the purpose of 24 over 12. Yes, I know, “more words, more entropy, more security.” Yet I came across this info from Trezor stating that there is no longer any real use case for 24 words if you never plan to recover a wallet from a computer:

If I ever had to restore from a seed phrase, I would just do it from a new hardware wallet so why use more words than necessary? Why has 24 become the default when there is really no logic to it?
