Applying a fee discount retrospectively

Hi all

I set up my Binance account a few months ago in anticipation of beginning to trade. I thought I'd clicked through a referral link but it turns out I didn't ????????

I verified that account at the time using my passport I believe. I'd asked to have the referral fee discount added retrospectively (as I made a genuine mistake) but it seems that's not possible. Could anyone explain a way I can achieve the same result?

Could I set up a second account with the discount and stop using the original? That may not be ideal unless I can verify a second account?

Or, would it be possible for Binance to merge my older, verified, account to a new one that has the discount if I set one up?

Any help would be much appreciated ????????
