Bank Gave Me a Last Warning

So I tried to make a debit transaction to a crypto exchange. I had a $15,000 credit line and only tried to withdraw/buy about $5,000cad . The debit card was blocked. After calling, my online account got locked.

I went to the bank, stood an hour because they thought I was suspicious. They told me they don't give credit lines for crypto-currencies.

And the guy who approved my credit line said he was disappointed and didn't expect me to gamble, it's not for my "education", even though I wasn't approved for a student credit line because it's a private type of training and I have to pay regular interest with no student benefit. I work part-time, which is enough to repay whatever I take from my line.

So I got a personal line of credit, not knowing that I had restrictions. The branch director came and told me I didn't deserve that kind of credit line and that they didn't allow cryptocurrency transactions. And I’m only allowed to buy from my earned savings, I've probably ruined my record at one of Canada's largest banks. They will probably reduce my limit. It’s not like I missed any payment in my life anywhere.

It all happened in the line, in front of everyone.

I don't encourage debt. I took the risk I had personally calculated. Honestly, it's not much - I still have to spend 7 times as much on my continuing training. And I've learned a thing or two in the last five hours.

I "risked" a portion of my LoC. But that portion represented a tenth of my current diversified holdings. Also the $15k they expect me to use for training won’t even last long.
