Bank will give you a 10K credit card but hold a 10K cheque

Today I went to the bank to cash a cheque that is approx 10K in value.

The same bank that begged me for years to increase my credit card limit to 10K was not comfortable cashing a 10K cheque for me without holds due to risks involved.

The only thing I thought during this whole experience is, "This is why we need bitcoin."

1. If the money was sent in BTC I would've had it within 30 mins max.
2. There would be no holds.
3. Nobody else would ever hold custody of it.
