Barbados to Become First Sovereign Nation With an Embassy in the Metaverse

Yesterday we discussed the latest trend of digital landholding and I shared how bullish I feel about the whole GameFi space in relation to the Metaverse hype that's going on. Today Coindesk posted this:
"The Barbadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade signed an agreement on Sunday with Decentraland, among the largest and most popular crypto-powered digital worlds, for the establishment of a digital embassy. Per a press release provided to CoinDesk, the government is also finalizing agreements with “Somnium Space, SuperWorld and other Metaverse platforms.”

The point I'm trying to get across here is that what we see happening in the GameFi space reminds me of the time when the first online games appeared. Community driven projects are uniting gamers and investors through market freedom in a new age of cultural creativity.
