Basic (but hard for me) question re: withdrawing an Ethereum investment from an Optimism contract

What the title says. I know enough about finance to know I want to withdraw this ethereum which has increased sizeably in value.

I have words on my screen like "Optimism contract," "token," "wallet," and so on. I know that some contracts you cannot withdraw money from, which some contracts you can. I have Python knowledge, and it seems like maybe withdrawing from a contract requires writing script.

Beyond that, I don't know much. I would like some help. I think this is relatively simple, if I get help--and maybe I don't even have to use any code but can just use a mainstream Wallet program to help me withdraw funds. Can someone pop into my DMs?
