I downloaded Sparrow Wallet, but after learning more about its algorithm, I have some concerns.
I created a wallet using the BIP39 algorithm with 12 mnemonic words. The wallet generates many receiving addresses, which seems secure pretty nice. But I have concerns about the potential for higher fees when sending money. If I understand correctly, having a Bitcoin balance spread across different addresses means that sending money involves multiple transactions, thus much higher fees.
So, I guess it's much more secure, but is it really worth it for much higher fees and more complicated process when you actually plan to use that bitcoin? I put an emphasis on a simple wallet that is the most financially effective at storing my bitcoin, rather than privacy.
