Hey,
We've been running a web3 HackerNews-like project (kiwinews.xyz) and we have a bridging challenge.
To post and upvote links on our protocol you need to have an NFT. We started with Mainnet, but because minting a $10 NFT sometimes cost $20 in gas fees we moved to Optimism. I assumed that most people we target have some funds bridged to OP, but when I met with people IRL, it turned out most of them had to bridge. Which, of course, decreased conversion since they had to decide where to bridge, open a new tab, send money, pay the gas fees, then return to our app and mint an NFT. Not the best UX to say the least.
So now we are looking for widgets we could implement on our website, so that a person can bridge without leaving the website. Do you have any suggestions?
