BF putting all savings into BTC

Hi!

My bf is a Bitcoin ride or die. I feel like he may have some FOMO from selling his BTC he had years ago and missing the huge jump a few years back. Since then he's all in. He told me yesterday that he had stopped contributing to his 401k at work and is now putting it all into BTC. He's 45 btw. He also took out a loan against his 401k to buy BTC when it was still in the 40k range, which he will be paying back for 2 years now. I'm not a BTC ride or die. I have some but it's a small percentage of my entire portfolio, and I likely won't get more due to not being comfortable with that at this time. What do you think about this? I feel like it's too much risk but it's his choice.

I find issue mostly because he lives in a studio, he has a moderate paying job (I make more than him, and I have a rental property for extra income) He is constantly consuming BTC content in form of podcasts, YT videos, watching and listening to things about economics, all day. As soon as he wakes up in the morning he checks his phone and listens to Bitcoin podcast, on his way to work he does the same. On his way home from work he does the same all afternoon at home he does the same well into the night he does the same. He does not work out or make efforts towards physical wellness which of course is important. I always tell him What does it matter if you have all this Bitcoin if you have a stroke? He is chronically online, at least 4 to 6 hours on top of work.

Do you think this sounds excessive? I know this is a bitcoin community so I'm interested to see what other bitcoiners think about this. He has no kids, no house, and a mid level paying job. He doesn't have a lot of money now, just a moderate normal amount, but he's betting on his money increasing years down the line with the increase of Bitcoin. Meanwhile we've been dating almost 4 years and I'm ready to take the next step, maybe purchase a place together, get married, and he states that he wants to do all that but his finances are not quite where he'd like because he's putting everything into Bitcoin. I want to get married at the courthouse. I'm all about saving money. He's a wonderful man, very emotionally mature and he's a wonderful partner for me, this is the main thing that gives me a little strife.
