Bitcoin as a gift

It's my nephew's birthday this week, and I'm thinking of giving him some crypto coins as a present. (Preferably Bitcoin, but not the whole coin, something worth arround 50€)

Where and how is the easiest way to create a wallet to which I would then transfer coins to him from my Bitstamp account.

And then what is the easiest way to transfer him the seed phrase.

I know some hardware wallet would be the best option, but currently I can't affort so much to spend.

So, is there a way, that I create some hot-wallet and then transfer coins there, and share seed phrase with my nephew?
