Even if a hypothetical totalitarian one-world-government shut down all Bitcoin traffic on the Internet, the blockchain would survive on isolated hard drives and offline devices for decades. Some underground enthusiasts would keep it alive until the Internet was freed again.

Bitcoin is a technological revolution and could be around for millennia.
