Blockstream Jade, adding passphrase using green after creating hard wallet seeds

Hello, after searching everywhere to add a passphrase to my 12 seed words to make it more secure, I ended up doing it myself. Even block stream Jade website didn’t have a tutorial FAQ for it!

For those people that have already got a 12 or 24 seed wordlist the passphrase is already blank. What you need to do it before you log onto your hard wallet…

Go to option and select BIP39 passphrase then frequency and once or always depending on you.

Then go back to unlock, and use the green app to unlock your wallet on the phone, it’ll tell you to put your pin in like normal but then tell you to add a passphrase, choose a phrase that you’ll remember and then it’ll create a new wallet. What I did was write down the 8 digit code on the bottom of the Jade so I could connect it to my various phrases. I created 6 for my kids. I did not use their names
