I moved all my BTC from a crapy old hot wallet to a better new hot wallet. My position was built over the years with the DCA approach. There've been over a 100+ transactions. And I managed to average down fairly well. I want to track all my transactions and also see my profit / loss.
I use a third party app and enter into it my wallet's BTC receive address, into the apps import feature. The problem is that the results only shows one transaction - the time that I deposited all my BTC into the new wallet. I thought was the app so I tried another one and it did the same time. Then I tried using the receive address of the crappy old hot wallet. The transitions all show up with that one. But I hate that wallet and never want to speak of it again.
Is there a different address, a more public global address that holds all the correct data?
Surely all my transactions are not tied to just one wallet address? What happens if I delete that old wallet?
Please tell me BTC is more suffocated than that. It has to because otherwise people would be dogging taxes like this all the time.
