Can we talk about the decline in posts quality since de implementation of moons?

For those who are not familiar, "moons" are blockchain-based tokens that reddit users can earn for actively contributing through posts and comments. But..

With the introduction of moons, besides rewarding users, we can clearly noticed that the quality of posts seems to have decreased. Now, many posts appear to be news links and meaningless replies which is for farming moons, leading to an increase in low-effort and low-quality content.

I can’t be the only one who noticed this. Do you think moons have contributed to the decline in post quality?

EDIT: I’m not against moons, I just wanted a discussion on how to improve moon rewards without having to flood news with useless commentaries
