I wanted to share with you an important update I received via email from Binance today. They have informed me that they will be withdrawing from the Canadian market due to regulatory guidance. Starting from October 1st, 2023, Canadian customers will have limited functionality on the platform. They will only be able to liquidate their positions, withdraw funds, and cryptocurrencies. I recieved similar notifications from other exchanges. I tried posting to binance subredit but the community did not allow it.
I must admit, as a Canadian, I am disappointed by this news. Blockchain technology is meant to be decentralized, and I have a genuine passion for this space. I have had a positive experience with Binance and am saddened by the restrictions imposed on Canadian investors. It feels like Canada is being constrained by the globalist agenda, and things are evolving rapidly. I hate to say it, but it seems like there may be no way out at the moment.
Id like to be informed about any future developments that might provide alternative opportunities for us as Canadian investors. If you have any insights or suggestions on how to navigate this situation, I would greatly appreciate your input.
