Cold wallet while traveling

As a crypto person, what is your best strategy while traveling for more than 2 weeks?

Do you take your cold wallet (or hot wallet in smartphone) anywhere you go?

One of my biggest challenges every time I go for a long trip is whether I should bring my laptop with me or not, specially for daily tasks related to crypto. I really don't like dragging my laptop while traveling, but I don't see any other option. (I need desktop Metamask capabilities with cold wallet)

And what about your seed phrases? What would you do if you lost your phone or cold wallet in day 1, and there is at least 1 month to go from your trip?

And lastly, what if you are a digital nomad, and constantly on travel? Would you bring your passwords with you?

I know these are not comfortable topics to discuss, but is there a balanced solution for all of this?
