Today I learned the hard way of buying ADA in Binance (not Binance.us) to fund 2 other Exchanges (Bitfinex and Bittrex). Today is one of those Epoch period which lasts 5 days. I have to wait until tomorrow night when the Epoch ends, and a new one starts. I have heard negative comments that Binance is holding your coins to stake and therefore profit from it. Regardless, of all the Exchanges I have dealt with, Binance is the easiest to use, and has one of the lowest fees to buy cryptos with FIAT currencies.

However, if I had known, I would have bought a different coin like ALGO or XLM to fund the other Exchanges. Hopefully the other coins which do not trade on Binance, do not go up in value until I can buy them.

UPDATE: I just re-logged onto Binance.com after more than 2 hours later. It says on the withdrawal page, "ADA network withdrawal suspended. Withdrawals can be processed through alternative networks. Subscribe to network recovery reminders to receive updates." Bad timing on my part. That warning was not there when I executed the withdrawals.

ANOTHER UPDATE: 7.5 hours later, my ADA coins were successfully withdrawn. As mentioned below in my comments, it is quite possible that Binance did not have enough ADA in its Hot wallet, and therefore needed to transfer from its Cold wallets. Regardless, Binance Exchange has always been my go-to Exchange. Unfortunately after this year, I cannot use it because I live in Ontario, Canada. :( I hope Binance will not put restrictions for Ontarians.
