Copious Amount Of Ethereum Stolen From My Binance Trust Wallet Yesterday

Yesterday my life changed. I had just finished up a job interview and I was reflecting on if I did well or not and I looked at my phone. My heart froze. I was looking at Trust Wallet notifications telling me that my funds were being successfully transferred to another account in real time. I was watching this person take 80% of my life from me. The transactions happened in a span of about 5 minutes before I transferred what was left in my wallet to another wallet and cashed out in fear of being hacked again.

I saw that they transferred it to a Binance address so I immediately submitted a support ticket with both Binance US and Trust Wallet detailing how much was stolen and the etherscan links, hoping they’d be able to freeze this nasty little rat’s assets. MY F*CKING ASSETS.

I’m trying to figure out how this happened and I cannot for the life of me understand. My key only exists on a piece of a paper hidden in my childhood bedroom in my parents house, where nobody can see it ever. I even called my mom and asked if any strangers or maintenance people had been in my room. Nobody. So this means it must have been some sort of external hack like the metamask hack or the t-mobile hack a few weeks ago (I have t-mobile). I did a malware scan on my computer and found 13 viruses, but I’m not sure if that is even related because I only had trust wallet on my iphone.

Whoever did you you’re a scum bag. And I hope karma catches up with you.

Is there anybody who has dealt with this? Is there anyone who has successfully gotten their coins back? Are there any legit coin recovery organizations you would recommend or next steps that might help me recover MY money?

All in all, don’t use Trust Wallet. Use cold storage. That’s what I should have done. If you got money in trust wallet right now that you don’t want stolen from you, take it out and don’t take risk in crypto until you get a cold storage. But whoever took my hard earned money I hope you encounter the worst luck anyone on this earth has ever seen.
