Creating an offline wallet for crypto fascinates me

I posted before in this sub that my ETH got transferred without me knowing (I'm pretty sure I signed a contract not knowing I've allowed something that transferred my crypto to a different wallet). After that happened, I've became more cautious handling my crypto holdings.

Before, I didn't do cold wallets because of my lack of knowledge what was the difference between hot and cold wallets. I've done a lot of research in reddit and Youtube how cold wallet works and alternatives how to create one. I've stumbled upon ways on how to create cold wallets and it just fascinates me how you can create a wallet without connecting to the internet and the blockchain still recognizes the wallet you made offline. THIS BLEW MY MIND.

This post gave me an idea https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/154jco6/i_use_an_old_smartphone_to_generate_airgapped/ on how to store some of my crypto. I've seen a lot of redditors suggests creating your offline wallet using TailsOS but I don't have any old computer lying around and I don't have that much funds to buy one. So I've decided to buy a really cheap smartphone that will not connect to the internet EVER (I bought it for 10 bucks in FB marketplace) for my ETH holdings and a trezor for my big bag of crypto. I'll separate my holdings to different cold wallets. I downloaded a lot of wallets like metamask, Rabby, Electrum, MEW wallet, etc. but what worked for me was Bitget Wallet. A few wallets didn't work since you have to either connect to the internet or you're only able to create one wallet at a time. Unlike Bitget, I was able to create a wallet multiple times and without connecting to the internet. Before I transfer my crypto to the offline wallet I created, I made a temporary wallet just to make sure I was able to open it online and it's able to receive the small crypto I transferred to it. I did this twice just to be sure it works and of course I will store my seedphrase that isn't in a computer or any devices that will connect to the internet.
