Crypto Charity For The WIN! If you want to believe that crypto can be used for good, this is for you.

I am a special education teacher in Los Angeles. I teach in a science inclusion classroom and some of the teachers I work with have been trying to raise money for a hydroponic garden for our students. Unfortunately, they have not had much success. However, yesterday I saw that Ergo Raffle released their beta dapp and I thought this might be a good opportunity to help raise some funds!

I went ahead and created one of the first raffles on the dapp during my lunch break. I posted about my raffle on reddit and telegram, and let people know what I was going to use the money for. I went back to work and didn't think much about it. This is where the story gets crazy...

By the time I got off of work, my raffle was fully funded! It was actually over funded! I had set the goal for 86 ERG, half of which would go to the raffle winner. Within a few hours, I had over 90 ERG pledged, which is over $1500!!! That means I have well over my goal of $650 to buy my students a hydroponic garden.

I really wanted to share this story with you all because it clearly demonstrates the power of crypto to do good in the world. It also highlights the good side of our community and people's honest desire to just make the world a better place.
