Crypto (defi) is turning mainstream, but not the way you think

Normally the argument I hear in crypto is that it needs to go mainstream for it to become fully successful. Mainstream to them is when everyone can easily use it, sorta like going on the internet and typing in you tube, and watching cat videos - (hurray the internet is now fully successful since your grandma can binge cat videos.)

But that's not how crypto will be unfortunately. Crypto will always be somewhat complicated and "risky" to every inexperienced person. And that's because crypto allows the ultimate low level access. Complete control of their assets. But the new emerging markets will be middle men services that will do this work for you, for a fee. It will evolve mainstream to the point where you can "easily" use crypto, but there will always be some "fee" unknown to the user. Just like moving coins from layer to layer, there will be services that do all this for you in the background, without you even having to know what the hell "gas" is.

Now I know you're thinking, oh shady exchanges do this for us right now. While that's true, these exchanges are mostly unregulated and can screw over many people. The future will be A LOT of regulation, but also utilizing native crypto blockchains frequently. It will be safer, more transparent, stable and a HUGE market!

Just like BlackRock announcing the future is tokenizing assets, just wait until your homes deed is a coin, and you pay someone to manage it. It's already begun, that's where mainstream crypto is going, but the BEST part is we will ALWAYS have the choice to control coins ourself, but at the risk of our own mistakes.
