Cut out the noise, and you'll do better research.

Cut out all YouTube, Twitter, and Discord from your crypto journey; It's all noise that prevents you from doing the proper research on a project.

I get that you want to see how many Twitter followers a project has, or how they're responding to the community's questions, but those things do not necessarily mean a project has sound fundamentals. Look at Safemoon; they have 1.3M Twitter followers, and what does that mean? Nothing. Go ask u/TNGSystems, he'll tell you all about it. The crypto Twittersphere is nothing but a circlejerk of spam and scams, emotionally charged people with opinions and shills.

YouTube is just chaos; loud and obnoxious "influencers" getting paid to shill, to hype, to convince the impressionable to "invest" in shitcoins. Thousands of videos filled with people sharing their moonshot stories, which are most likely fake, in a bid to find some poor soul to dump all of their money into whatever will fill the creator's bags.

Discord; rife with scams and security issues, the app itself is terrible, but each channel is teeming with misinformation, more scammers, and pump and dump groups. I'm sure some people make use of the individual project's communities, but those are also subject to infiltration by scammers.

Instead of all that garbage:

Read the whitepapers, investigate a project's website (including their T&C and Privacy Policy), and pay attention to their grammar and spelling. Find the PURPOSE of the project; what is it trying to do? What problem is it trying to solve? Research the teams of the project. Research the tokenomics and sustainability of the project. Analyze the fundamentals; how valuable is the utility? Research transaction volume and market cap. Does the project build on an existing chain or does it have its own blockchain? Who are the project's competitors? Etc, etc.

Cutting out all the noise will give you a much more focused research approach. It helped me immensely.
