[DISCUSSION] ATL crypto folks — would you buy groceries and electronics with Stablecoins if local businesses took it?

Atlanta-based, sanity-checking an idea before I build it.

Would you use a marketplace where local ATL small businesses accept stablecoins? Four categories to start: services (lawyers, consultants, cleaners, contractors), groceries, electronics, and high-ticket items like furniture and appliances.

Merchant case seems clear: cheaper than card processing, no chargebacks, same-day settlement. Services especially, since there's no inventory and invoicing is already how they get paid. The buyer case is what I'm unsure about.

  • Would you actually spend stablecoins, or just hold?
  • Services or physical goods first?
  • USDC only, or others? Which chain?
  • Any ATL business owners or independent professionals who'd sign up if setup was easy?
