Do you know about the lightning Network and Taro Protocol/RGB?

Since 2018 I spent multiple thousands of hours on crypto and Bitcoin. I used to own a lot of altcoins back then (also ethereum) but sold them as I learned more about the Bitcoin Network.

Please don't think of this post as a toxic Bitcoin maxi rant. I really want to hear your opinion on this.

Do you know about the possibilities that the lightning Network, Taro Protocol and RGB offer? These things enable every feature altcoins offer but on the Bitcoin network (smart contracts, instant payments for free and anonymous, stablecoins, NFTs (If you really want to),...).

Why would anyone use multiple different cryptocurrencies when you can do everything on Bitcoin, which has the most robust and decentralised blockchain. It exists longer than any other cryptocurrency and is known by the most amount of people.

Bitcoin isn't outdated tech.
There is a reason why the Bitcoin blockchain is so slow and "boring". The Bitcoin network is build in layers on top of the blockchain. Just like the internet is build. The blockchain is just the settlement layer that no regular person will need to interact with in the future. Payments are meant to be made on the lightning network in realtime, free and anonymous.

Did you know about this? If so, I'm really curious why you are holding other cryptocurrencies than Bitcoin. Is there anything I didn't consider?
