Does Strongcoin still exist?
Since their business seems wholly based on their strongcoin.com website, their business cannot exist as a trading entity when their website is unavailable.
Their domain registration is still active, it expires later in 2022. Currently their DNS service is mostly absent. The domain is delegated to cloudflare.com who are serving an HINFO record but no A records for strongcoin.com. Perhaps there has been some gross error by either party, perhaps there is an unresolved dispute, perhaps there is some external reason causing cloudflare to deliberately cease DNS service for strongcoin.com.
Archived copies of the strongcoin.com website contain claims that they are a UK based business. There is no physical address that I could find. There is no business with the name strongcoin registered at UK companies house. Strongcoin might not be a registered company or it might be a trading-name of a company registered under another name.
These are not good indications in my opinion.
Does anyone know what happened to it?
I don't.
I note that their social media accounts don't seem to have been active for several years.
