Does the fee change based on the number of people I am Airdrop to?

So I was just trying out the airdrop feature of thirdweb (on base sepolia testnet) and thus created a token. I did two airdrops and the transaction fee was different on both of them. In the first case when i airdropped to 4 address the transaction fee was way lower than when i airdropped to 100 address.

So, i want to know is this normal on the mainnet too?
Also the gas fee goes to the stakers, where does the transaction fee goes?
