I wrote a small script to backtest dollar cost averaging scenarios. Everything below is simulated and not real money.
For fun i took top 10 coins at the beginning of the year (01.01.2021) and invested 10$ every 10 days till today.
Keep in mind i didnt try to fiddle with the timeframe and investment, i just put 10$/10days. (Calculated by daily average)
Not gonna lie i was a bit surprised how good even this simple DCA strategy is. Even in current dumpsterfire of a market you would have a small profit and best of all if you sold each coin when you were at the bottom you would only be down 10-15%.
I know what strategy im gonna use from now on.
