Don’t compare your profits/losses to anyone else’s. Comparing myself to others is what initially got me involved in crypto. I saw stories of people making millions of dollars seemingly overnight, I wanted to be like them.

I quickly found that this is a dangerous game to play. You’ll start to see crypto investing as more of gambling than investing if you start to think like that.

”Well, I see that Jim made 23x profits last year. How do I get to that point?” The answer is that you likely won’t. Jim got amazingly lucky investing in shitcoins and maybe even used leverage. That’s a dangerous way to invest.

In the same way, looking at other people’s portfolios and saying, ”How did they get 22 ETH and 3 BTC?” will just drive you crazy.

The moral of the story is…stay grounded, go at your own pace, set realistic goals and don’t worry about other’s goals.
