Don’t keep your Private Key and Seed Phrase in the same place. And don’t label it

A user here mentioned having a gathering and his Private Key and recovery Seed Phrase were in the same hiding spot and he got robbed.

It was only a small amount and I’d chalk it up to a lesson and not leave both your pk and seed in the same place.

The major rule of backups in IT is don’t have your backups all in the same place. I advise people to put the first half of the seed or pk in 1 location and the 2nd half in another geographical location not at the same residence.

So any scum would need to gain physical access to 2 different locations and also 2 different hiding spots.

Also don’t label it CRYPTO key or something stupid. stuff it in a folder called pet history bills
