DROPPED AND REPLACED TRANSACTION

Dropped and replace.

Hope someone can help. I've already opened a support ticket with the wallet address in question. It belongs to me and run via Ledger Live Nano X. For ease, I'll copy/paste below. Thanks to all in advance...

The NONCE on both transactions concerned is - 21

Transaction hash - 0xe9d319b2ad517180d33f971f4e77cc3df7d6eed18e215febdd6825f0dba3122c was via the Ledger Live app on my mac. My intention was to send 0.5 Ether ($1,640.14), to be staked via the LIDO app. When I checked the progress with ETHERSCAN it showed that the transaction status was dropped and replaced.

A little research later and I learnt that my 0.5 ETH should not have been debited from my balance. The Ledger Live app didn't show the balance despite me waiting couple hours plus.

I then swapped bitcoin to ETH using the swap function of Ledger Live. It worked fine. And with that ETH received (0.38895342214216) swapped it to the UOS token. This was done via the Paraswap App in Ledger Live. This transaction was successful. I checked the nonce on ETHERSCAN and it showed it was the same number as the first one i made that got dropped. Effectively meaning that transaction shouldn't have taken place at all and the balance should have reverted back to its originating wallet address. Yet it has still not and I am now concerned that I am missing 0.5 ETH.

Having done some reading on https://info.etherscan.com/dropped-and-replaced-meaning/ the TLDR states - TL;DR, the assets and the gas fee in a dropped transaction are not deducted from the sender's wallet address balance and are reverted back to sender. Since the dropped transaction is not processed and registered into the blockchain, its nonce is now taken over and is used by the replacement transaction. Your wallet address' balance should only be reflecting the changes affected by the replacement transaction and not the dropped transaction. However, if your balance is deducted from the dropped transaction, kindly refer to your wallet service provider for further assistance.

With that in mind, I'm following those instructions and am referring this to you in the hope this can be resolved quickly so that I can use my tokens as I see fit.
