I mean, let's face it. All we have heard the last few months in the crypto space is "Elon this, Elon that, Elon Elon Elon." He somehow became the face of crypto, even though all he did was tweet and buy it. Meanwhile, he manipulates the market and people follow him.
The best thing to ever happen to crypto was Satoshi remaining anonymous. He became a ghost, letting crypto do its own thing. If he wasn't anonymous, he would have the same effect Elon does, if he acted the same way.
Now I know what you're thinking. "But u/BetweenTheUprights, Satoshi didn't care about the USD value of bitcoin." And obviously that's true. But if Satoshi were not anonymous, his actions would still sway the value of bitcoin nonetheless.
I dunno, I'm just rambling about this shower thought.
