Need some advice: I live in the U.S. and my wife’s family has a many-generations-old family home in Spain that will soon be sold and divided up in Euros between four families (the other three live in Spain—total for each will be as high as 250K Euros). We have a Spanish bank account so the Euros will be dropped in there at sale. I was wondering the best approach to avoid crazy fees and taxes that are coming our way. If it were up to me, I’d put it all in Bitcoin :) Is that even possible? How would I move all that to my cold wallet? If so how much in fees would it be to do that? Regarding taxes, my understanding is that I would only pay taxes if I sold.
Thanks for any thoughts or insights!
