Excuse me, why are we bouncing ?

This subreddit told me we gonna get rekted again, there was a sharp drop and all I see now is green ? Why ?

Can someone help me understand what happend ?
From what I understood rate increase was not something positive and we should not see any green. There was a sharp drop but as fast it dropped it sky rocketed.

Are we bouncing because everybody was expecting worse and this rate increase was already priced in ?

I guess all the people who opened short position just after the announcement got reckted and old gold rule is to always do the opposite of what this subreddit is screaming...
