Facebook to embrace the Metaverse - Implications for Ethereum

Facebook will apparently be rebranding itself as a tech conglomerate very shortly, focused on the Metaverse. This is wildly bullish for Ethereum!

Ethereum is the main blockchain used for NFTs. It is also the root for current Metaverse ecosystems such as Second Life and Decentraland.

If a company with the scale of Facebook (love them or hate them!) pivots strongly towards a Metaverse ecosystem and it chooses to use Ethereum (which is likely but not guaranteed), then I predict that Ethereum's value will absolutely skyrocket. The flippening would be just the starting point in a massive, massive price run-up.

If you doubt the scale of Facebook, and its ability to do things at scale, just read one line from the article linked above, "On Tuesday, the company announced plans to create 10,000 jobs in the European Union over the next five years to help build the metaverse."
