Hi all. Back in 2020 I bought $20 worth of bitcoin just for shits & giggles, around $8k a coin then. Until recently I have been against bitcoin and always advocates for index fund investing. Within the last few weeks, after seeing my $20 was up 500%, I decided to finally look into what the hell bitcoin is, its history and better understand it (wish I did more than $20 back then now lol).
It was a Michael Saylor podcast that did it for me. It finally ‘clicked’ for me and now I understand the beauty and brilliance of what bitcoin is and can be. I bought $200 worth on Robinhood when it was at $56k-ish the other day after the podcast. What should I be doing now, DCA as I would index funds or buy during dips?
Also - are you guys treating bitcoin as just an incredible investment opportunity for the high returns and/or buying because you think it’ll completely replace our current fiat/money system one day? Lastly, I find it easy to become obsessed with the idea of bitcoin’s brilliance, if not careful lol
