First investment

I do not know much about crypto but I need to get into it, I used to be trying to begin off with a small funding of perhaps something around £1000. What can be an excellent coin to buy as a primary investment, and will I put all of it into one coin or spread it between 2 or three. I feel bitcoin and ethereum are protected choice’s nevertheless I’m to not positive. Additionally, I’m not sure if my preliminary investment is to low to make a great return with coins resembling bitcoin.
