Friendly reminder: Don't use google for anything crypto related. Google gets paid to push scams to the top of search results.

Yet another victim that lost €1200 because they clicked a scam google ad that was pushed to the top of the search results.

Please use ad free search engines like duckduckgo for crypto or at least use extreme caution if you absolutely must use google.

More security practices that can keep you safe:

• Use an adblocker like ublock origin to block google ads Chrome / Firefox
• Bookmark addresses for crypto wallets and exchanges you visit frequently instead of googling them every time
• Get into the habit of double checking the web address (e.g. myethierwallet.com instead of myetherwallet.com is most likely a scam)
• Click the icon next to the url bar to double check that the certificate is valid.
