I understand I may be in the insane minority here, but I actively DCA into BTC without having the ideology behind it. I don’t mind who holds my BTC, as I’ve never had any trust issues with larger institutions. I invest in the value of BTC more than the utility, and wouldn’t mind at all cashing out for FIAT in twenty or thirty years as I do believe the value will go up considerably. But truthfully, I do trust larger platforms and exchanges more than just handling everything myself especially with horror stories I hear about various products like Ledger. I’ve never held my own cash, I’ve never held my own stocks, so I don’t understand the fevered need to hold one’s own BTC. Currently, I’m dividing my holdings among two or three large platforms and exchanges. Is this really such a flawed approach?
