Yesterday I had an interesting meeting with my bank manager.
A short backstory. My wife and I invest in stocks and property since about 20 years. Now we have some fresh money to invest and wanted to do it the Smart way.
Of course I bought some crypto a few months ago but that's just 10% of the money. The rest will be invested into future tech ETF, water and green energy.
So yesterday was the day to meet our bank manager (he's around 50 I'd say) and we started to talk about this and that. At some point we started to talk about crypto and my wife mentioned that I own some since many years. That was the point where this conversation took a turnaround. The bank guy was very interested in crypto and was obviously disappointed that his employer (biggest bank in my country and owner is the state) don't offer any crypto etf to his customers. He asked me a lot of questions like, where to buy without being scammed, where do I see the market in the future, what coins do I own and so on.
We spend there 4hrs ... Of which 3 was just about crypto! Interesting was he never said one bad word about crypto, but he seemed to be curious about this space.
I'd be very interested to hear what your experience was with your bank employees about crypto.
