Half Marathon organized by Hal Finney's wife to raise funds for ALS Research

Early Pioneer of crypto, Hal Finney's wife is organizing an event in honor of her husband.

The event is called 'Running BTC' which is a half marathon event that would take place between 1st Jan to 10th Jan.

It is to raise funds for ALS research through BTC donations, a disease which led to Hal's death .

Hal Finney, a major contributor to BTC's and the first person to receive BTC from Satoshi was diagnosed with ALS in 2009 and succumbed to death from the same on 2014. His body has been cryptoreserved by Alcor Life Extension Foundation
