Has anyone here ever taken a loan out to invest in BTC?

Edit: just to make the purpose of this post clear for the sheer number of regards in this sub who CANNOT READ… 1. I’m just asking about other people’s experiences who used debt to buy btc. 2. I’m not asking for unsolicited financial advice, I’m just stating my plans to leverage debt to buy btc.

If so, how did it go? For the next significant dip/bear market I’m currently looking at taking out a £10k loan over 5 years at 9.5% APR, £208/month payments which is easily manageable. DISCLAIMER for everyone preaching about my financial risk appetite: I could afford to completely tank this 10k and it not even affect my lifestyle. I have £70k in collectible assets that I don’t want to sell, but could liquidate some if push came to shove. Thanks for your concern, but I’ll be fine.

Inb4 “lol trying to time the market” and inb4 “there won’t be another significant dip”. It’s just insanely naive to think that way during a bull run.
