I have been receiving several spam and hack-related emails regarding cryptocurrencies for several days now, on my email address that I use exclusively for Nexo (It's an email address dedicated to Nexo, never used elsewhere).
I segment my email addresses in this way to determine which site is leaking/selling personal data or being hacked.
However, it turns out that I am not the only one complaining: https://twitter.com/AureKRS/status/1752627573551444081
Thus, a French media outlet seems to have reported having spoken with a "hacker" selling the dataset of Nexo users, 7 days ago. https://www.zataz.com/fuite-de-donnees-pour-le-specialiste-de-la-crypto-nexo/
Meanwhile, Nexo vehemently denies any data leakage.
In this case, how is it possible that the email address I use exclusively with Nexo is starting to receive scam emails related to cryptocurrency?
And, that I am not alone in this situation, at the same timing?
