Hey all. I've started trading in crypto for the past year or so but don't talk about it much at home, except recently when my parents started seeing news about crypto (like the Staples, Crypto-dot-com thing). So when they learned that I use part of my salary to get into crypto, they told me I shouldn't fall for the hype and just keep my money safe.
EXCEPT I've read enough stories from this sub and outside of people getting money in crypto and even company owners saying blockchain has potential in foreign exchanges, and the fact that many companies are starting to get into crypto. Even my kid relatives are playing NFT games (Axie Infinity) to earn!!!
Now that the market is currently in a dip, I don't want to miss the chance of my parents earning more before they retire in a few years. I hate that they prefer saving/keeping money in the bank, and I know they can get more out of their money if they learn crypto. I don't know where to start convincing them. I know they'll be hesitant because of the Great Recession and now COVID, but I'd like to shoot my shot since I don't know when this opportunity will appear again.
How did you convince people close to you to give crypto a shot? Really out of my luck here. Thanks
