Hollywood Celebrity Worship is hurting all aspects of our lives and especially crypto

Celebrity worship syndrome is a well researched topic in the academic circles. It is basically a disorder in which people are obsessed with the details of a celebrity's personal and professional lives. Though it might be really prominent in the United States due to obvious reasons but we can definitely see its impacts propagated in other parts of the world as well.

I am sure that you are constantly being bombarded with the news titles, even in this sub-reddit, where news outlets are constantly writing about which projects celebrities are investing in or what they said about certain projects or crypto as a whole.

It is not a trivial matter that most of these celebrities do not have sufficient expertise in the fields of finance or technology for the news outlets and people continually broadcast their ideas. It can also be risky because these celebrities can take part in pump and dump schemes.

I humbly propose that we stop taking these celebrities' words as prophecies at least in this sub-reddit and stop constantly posting about what they said. I think their ideas are just as important as the next person.
