How a 10% Surge affected us all.

From the 1st week of September to the last days, we saw a decline in the price of BTC and some alts, there were also some days where the total market cap was down and with that it affected the sub in many ways:

1. The number of active members online were slowly diminishing

2. The rate of growth in the total number of members were slow compared to the previous months.

But now that September has ended, most of the FUD has ceased (China FUD is even more pointless), and there's more hopium than ever from various sectors. The very first day of October or to be more precise in this context, Uptober has made BTC skyrocket to 10% sitting comfortably at 47 to 48k while Altcoins are enjoying green candles of varying percentages.

In relation to the events that transpired:

1. Active members went from an average of only 7k to a whopping 19k.

2. Though it's just one day into October, we already seeing an increase in the total members of this sub.

It baffles me how easily this sub can be resurrected with just a 10% hike. Now more moons boys at twitter are spouting 100k predictions even without proper TA while some others at YouTube see a change in the air with bears possibly dominating Q4 of 2021.

My take on this matter is that we should lower our expectations on the coming weeks ahead and always be prepared. Stay updated and always do research. Everything in this space is still too easily moved by price action, news and everything in between.
